Whiskey Sour

1 lemon; juiced
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
2 oz blended whiskey
Lemon peel (optional); for garnish
Maraschino cherry (optional); for garnish

Shake with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice.

Decorate with a half-slice of lemon and a cherry, if you wish.
