For the Dough:
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, flour, and salt; mix until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-6 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Form the Rolls: Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 16×21-inch rectangle. Spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and strawberries. Roll up tightly from the long end and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Make the Glaze: Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
- Finish with Glaze: Spread the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
