Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup well-drained roasted red bell peppers, chopped
- 8 slices provolone cheese, halved
- 1/3 lb sliced salami
- 1/3 lb sliced ham
- 1/4 lb pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup sliced banana peppers
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles.
- Arrange the Dough: Place the triangles on a 12-inch pizza pan, forming a ring with the points facing outward and overlapping slightly at the base.
- Add Cheese and Meats: Layer half of the provolone on the wide parts of the dough. Then add the roasted red peppers, salami, ham, and pepperoni.
- Add Peppers and Basil: Sprinkle banana peppers and chopped basil over the meats, and top with the remaining cheese.
- Fold and Seal: Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling, tucking under the base to form a ring.
- Apply Egg Wash and Seasonings: Brush the ring with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool and Serve: Let the crescent ring cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm for the best flavor.
