  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for rolling)
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 48 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

 

  1. Prepare Oven and Sheets: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Sugars and Butters: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until well blended.
  5. Form Cookies: Shape the dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in additional granulated sugar and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake and Decorate: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned. Immediately after removing from the oven, press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  7. Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
