- 1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping, thawed

- 1 cup milk

Instructions
- Prepare the Cake: Bake the orange cake mix in a 9×13 inch pan according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely.
- Poke and Pour: Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes across the entire cake. Dissolve the orange gelatin in boiling water, stir in cold water, and pour over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
- Mix Pudding Layer: Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until thickened. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
- Assemble: Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the gelatin-soaked cake.
- Chill: Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set.
