- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cans (15 oz each) peach slices, drained
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pans: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- Mix Butter and Sugar: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar. Spoon 1 teaspoon into each muffin cup.
- Arrange Peaches: Place 2-3 peach slices in a circular pattern over the sugar mixture in each cup.
- Prepare Cake Batter: Mix the cake batter with the eggs, oil, and water according to the package directions.
- Fill Cups: Pour the batter over the peaches, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool and Invert: Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then run a knife around the edges of each cake and invert onto a cooling rack.
