Meatball Boats

  • 1 baguette, cut into 4 equal parts
  • 12 cooked meatballs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Boats: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Hollow out each baguette piece to form a boat, being careful not to pierce the bottom. Brush the insides with olive oil.
  2. Fill Boats: Place three meatballs in each boat. Top with marinara sauce.
  3. Add Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the sauce.
  4. Bake: Arrange the boats on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh basil. Serve hot and enjoy!
