- 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional toppings: 1/2 cup each of chopped pepperoni, crumbled cooked sausage, diced bell peppers, finely chopped mushrooms, and sliced black olives
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
- Additional marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Dough: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Choose Toppings: Add your preferred toppings evenly over the cheese.
- Roll and Slice: Roll the dough tightly from the long side. Cut into 1-inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Season and Bake: Brush the rolls with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the pizza rolls hot with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
