  1. Preheat and Prepare: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Butter and Cheese: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add Egg and Vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Incorporate Cake Mix: Gradually blend in the cake mix on low speed until the dough comes together.
  5. Chill the Dough: Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Form Cookies: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in confectioners’ sugar to coat.
