  • 1 package (14.3 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (16 oz) whipped topping, divided
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 4 Butterfinger candy bars, crushed

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: In a bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted butter. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form a crust. Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the next layer.
  2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled cookie crust.
  3. Add the Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Top with Whipped Topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  5. Garnish with Butterfingers: Sprinkle the crushed Butterfinger candy bars over the top, ensuring an even layer for added crunch and flavor.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the Butterfinger Delight for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set properly. Serve chilled and enjoy this decadent dessert!
