Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup 7-Up or any clear soda
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Combine the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, stir together the Bisquick and sour cream until well blended. Slowly add the 7-Up, and mix just until a soft dough forms.
- Prepare the Pan: Pour the melted butter into the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan, ensuring it evenly coats the base.
- Shape the Dough: Spoon the dough into the pan over the melted butter. Use your hands or a spatula to gently pat the dough into an even layer about 3/4-inch thick.
- Bake to Golden Perfection: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
- Cool and Serve: Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
