3 Minute Fudge

3 Minute Fudge

This fudge is not only quick to make but also incredibly versatile and can be adapted with various mix-ins like nuts or dried fruit.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 3 minutes
  • Yield: Makes about 16 squares 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper or foil. Lightly grease it with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave: Heat on high for 1 minute. Stir the mixture, then continue to microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add Flavors: Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  5. Set the Fudge: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm.
  7. Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the edges of the parchment or foil. Cut into squares.
